This is just a beginning, being the creator of the blog I am posting the first comment and I hope the chain will go on.....
ReplyDeleteDunia Finance started its business during the last quarter of 2008 in Dubai, Brain child of Mr. Rajiv Kakar and a joint venture of Mubadala Development Company PJSC (Abu Dhabi and Fullerton Financial Holdings (A Subsidiary of Tamsek Holdings Singapore) . Main investment is from Tamasek and Mubadla.
At that time when the people of UAE were struggling with their financial problems due to the economic and financial crunch around the globe Dunia Finance started lending money to almost everyone and anyone. BUT the best part was Dunia's SKY HIGH interest rate and credit policy... if u analyze closely any customer who borrowed from Dunia ended up paying more than double the actual amount which he/she took from Dunia and on top of that they have there certain service charges which incur in the beginning of the loan as soon the loan is dispersed and after that on every installment there is a charge as well apart from the interest rate.. 42% and they say its REDUCING RATE OF INTEREST which was WAY MORE HIGH than any other bank offering at that time in UAE. But people took loan from them, WHY? because if you have a family to support in Philippines or India and you are having a hard time making both ends meet during the time of financial crunch every single penny coming your way is worth more than anything.
In short Dunia Finance exploited all the possible opportunities available to them as an organization and they made handsome profits out of it.
